This is my PMG submission pen, a completely kitless ballpoint. The Delrin parts were sanded to a matte finish for contrast and low maintenance. All the brass parts were powdercoated clear.
This is the retracted position.
All of the parts before assembly. The pin at top right goes through the finial and the threads on the clip for strength.

This is what I used. No kit parts and no glue were used. The guitar string was used to make the spring.
Mechanism with refill and spring. The hole inside the threads holds the refill straight and provided me with a means to adjust the stick out of the tip.
Detail of pin used to strengthen clip.

IAP Pen Swap pen that went to Vern.Half Baron and half Sedona with modified CB and finial. Desert Ironwood with antler for the cap and grip section.
