"The Dragon" Limited Edition from my "Mythical Creatures" series. This pen was hand-painted using fine-art natural pigment acrylic over alternative ivory with a lacquer finish. This pen features a slightly modified emperor kit with a clipless cap. The hand-painted seal on the cap is the Chinese character for "dragon." Inspiration for the artwork came from an ancient vase located at the Asian & Art Museum of San Francisco.
