John Solberg's comments about the making of the pen. "The pen was made as a one piece 7mm out of black Lucite material from the Pipemakers Emporium in Phoenix. It was the first one piece I have built out of Lucite and it became quite a challenge as the material becomes very flexible as it gets thin."
